Unfortunately I must state
2008 wasn’t great.
The economy went of the track
Our city faced a terrorist attack.
But now I think things will be fine
As we usher in 2009.
And thanks to Rati it’s well begun
And the proverb says that is half done.
More than the year we celebrate
A couple that is truly great.
They’re far from their home in L.A.
But in the city of their wedding day.
Doctors both, they take good care
Of friends and patients. With us they share
Their warmth and kindness all the time.
And for this I praise them with this rhyme.
